Registered Radiologic Technologist (FT, afternoons)

Qualifications/Position Requirements:

Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and maintains ARRT注册表.
Registered Computerized Tomography Certification or equivalent, required within one year of hire
One year experience as CT Technologist, preferred.
Able to provide quality diagnostic services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, while performing diagnostic imaging through patient education, appropriate skill, and knowledge
Demonstrates ability to perform equipment manipulation and function for the purpose of producing quality diagnostic images
Physically capable of standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting 重达40磅
Self-Motivated to learn additional diagnostic imaging modalities
Self-Motivated and able to work afternoon shift, weekends, holidays
Able to meet on-call requirements of 30 minute response time
Ability to establish effective working relationships and effective communication with peers, patients, families, physicians, and all other hospital support personnel
Ability to communicate in speech, writing, and reading of English language
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain composure during stressful times
Ability to handle various office equipment and radiological equipment

Role/Position Definition: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs all required diagnostic procedures for all patient populations with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high quality examinations. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic 诊断. 的放射 Technologist participates in cross training activities as necessary to function in multi-modality roles which includes General Radiography and Computerized Tomography.
